I just got confirmation on another showcase! That makes three for sure this year. I may try to pick up another one. Why the heck not?
It will be crazy busy, but I sort of love that. Two solo slots, one American Catastrophe slot, and getting to emcee the MidCoast Takeover Showcase!

I just got conformation on two showcase spots for SXSW! This is pretty exciting stuff for me. I have played the fest before (2006 & 2011) but never with more than one project. I’ll be performing solo and with American Catastrophe. I’m still waiting to hear back from another unofficial showcase as well. Fun times in Texas!
This is all brand new to me.
This is my first blog experience. I was also very late getting a cell phone, a dvd player, and even a computer. It’s genetic. My dad was the last person I knew to get an answering machine and a CD player.
I will try not to feel pressured about writing or updating. It should be fun, right? I’ll figure out how to fit it in between shows, rehearsals, and life.
I plan on having many new adventures this year. Lots of travel and music! I have decided to document some of that silliness here. Let the fun begin!
